Portland Diamond Project

PDP founder and co-owner Craig Cheek will be talking about the movement to bring Major League Baseball to Portland.  Baseball in Portland presents a rare opportunity to shape the future of our city on a grand scale: creating employment opportunities, expanding transportation options, adding great public spaces, and building civic pride. Our effort is rooted in listening to business and community leaders, building great partnerships and working together to make Portland better with Baseball.  Craig will explain how the Portland Diamond Project started and share a brief outline of the history of baseball in Portland. He will also discuss our plans for a ballpark, the possibility of MLB expansion vs. relocation, and give an update on where things stand today.
