On January 11, 2019  the Oregon Department of Justice had their first annual National Human Trafficking Awareness Day Awards Ceremony. The Rotary Clubs of Oregon were recognized for their support, activities, advocacy, education and awareness related to the great strides our communities have made these past 7 years.  District 5100 Includes Salem to Clark County and the Washington/Oregon Coast to Wallowa County.   The remainder of Oregon is part of District 5110.   Grants Pass has been active and a former Portland Rotarian took the work East Portland has been doing to the Newport, Lincoln City and surrounding areas.

Thank you Attorney General Ellen Rosenblum and her Statewide Trafficking Intervention Advisory Committee who nominated Rotary for this award.  Dana Clark was honored to receive this award on behalf of the Rotary Clubs in Oregon from Officer Mike Gallagher and Liz Alston, Oregon CSEC Coordinator DHS.
