On Thursday, May 16th, East Portland Rotary hosted our annual visit of the Portland Rose Festival Court Princesses. Each princess was escorted to lunch and their assigned seat by one of our rotary members.
For the program, our own Bob Strader, a Royal Rosarian, served as Master of Ceremonies. Each Princess was introduced by one of her fellow court members, and then posed questions designed to reveal her background and future plans. It is amazing how each Princess already has an impressive list of talents and accomplishments which is evident in their future goals.
The meeting ended with each Princess giving a short 'infomercial' for one of many Rose Festival events.
