The Mazamas

The Mazamas, a 127-year old mountaineering organization, has deep roots in Portland, Oregon, and the Pacific Northwest. In his talk librarian and archivist Mathew Brock will discuss the founding of the organization, some of its early members, and its long history of exploration, scientific research, conservation, and education.
